Why Do Electrical Control Panels Need a Dedicated AC Unit?

Industrial control panels are the heart and soul of every manufacturing or production line. At the same time, this equipment is one of the most critical and technically sophisticated parts of any machine. Inside industrial control panels, various electronic instruments are located that monitor and regulate the continuous operation of machines. Humidity in the electrical panel can cause condensation on the live parts of the electrical equipment. Such changes in the characteristics of the insulating coverings lead to immediate equipment failure due to corrosion and short circuits.

Meanwhile, the air conditioner, by cooling the air inside the enclosure, removes moisture from it. Thus, the integrity of the enclosed equipment can be preserved because the air conditioner will remove dampness from the inside and expel it outside with its own exhaust.
